I remember before I got the Ultimate Collection I had Tib Wars on Steam and Kane's on Origin, and it wouldn't work until I bought and installed the Origin version though in retrospect I probably could've just changed the directory. I uninstalled it, and then reinstalled it, but I still have the same problem, which has persisted for several days. I have a brand new computer and yes it is all up dated. My problem was that Generals would not start at all, while Red Alert would start but I was unable to change the resolution. I am sure Win7 will not be the same solution! I'm clueless as to how to get Generals working. A few more failed startups and my fist will be through my monitor. But after changing that setting everything was fine.
